If we are closed, then leave a message so that we can reach out with possible appointment times. With urgent care dentistry, we can repair injuries before they lead to further trouble for your smile!
Examples include a tooth being chipped, cracked, or even broken. If a tooth is knocked loose or out completely, this needs attention right away. We want to see you if an object is caught between the teeth or under the gums and floss cannot extract it. Easing Your Initial Discomfort and Preventing Complications
First, don’t panic! Rinse with warm water and then control any bleeding with some cloth or gauze. If you can, use a cold compress to prevent facial swelling. If you can recover any pieces of a tooth, please do so, and bring them with you. If a tooth is knocked out, only pick it up by the crown, not the roots, and place it in a sealed container of milk or salt water and bring it with you. If you cannot find milk or salt water, place it into the socket and bite down carefully to hold it in place until we can see you. An over-the-counter pain reliever could be helpful too!
